Motorola Razr 70 Leaks Reveal Dual Display Design and Fast Charging Ahead of Launch

New certification listings and leaked images suggest Motorola upcoming foldable Razr 70 will feature dual displays, improved cameras, and fast charging support, with launch expected soon in China market.

Fresh details about Motorola’s next foldable smartphone have surfaced online, giving a closer look at what users can expect from the upcoming Razr 70. The device has recently appeared on certification platforms in China, where both its specifications and design elements have started to emerge.

The smartphone was earlier spotted on the TENAA certification database with model number XT2657 2. The listing has now been updated with live images, offering a clearer view of the phone’s design. In addition, China’s 3C certification authority has also approved the device, confirming some key hardware details.

Based on the leaked images, Motorola appears to be sticking with its familiar flip phone design. The Razr 70 is expected to feature a large external display on the back, alongside a horizontal dual camera setup and an LED flash. The lower half of the rear panel carries the company’s iconic batwing logo along with Razr branding.

The dual display setup remains one of the most striking features of the device. According to the listing, the main foldable screen will measure around 6.9 inches and offer a resolution of 1080 by 2640 pixels. This OLED panel is expected to deliver a premium viewing experience when unfolded.

On the outside, the phone is likely to include a secondary display of about 3.63 inches with a resolution of 1056 by 1066 pixels. This outer screen is designed to handle quick tasks such as notifications, calls and basic app usage without needing to open the device.

Performance details suggest that the Razr 70 could be powered by an octa core processor clocked at up to 2.75GHz. The phone is expected to offer multiple memory configurations, ranging from 8GB to as high as 18GB of RAM, along with storage options that could go up to 1TB.

For photography, Motorola may equip the device with a dual camera system on the rear, both sensors expected to be 50 megapixels. On the front, the phone is likely to include a 32 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery specifications indicate a dual cell setup with a rated capacity of 4275mAh, while the typical capacity could be around 4500mAh. The 3C certification has confirmed support for 33W fast charging, which should allow users to quickly recharge the device.

In terms of physical design, the Razr 70 is expected to measure approximately 171.3 by 73.9 by 7.2 mm and weigh around 188 grams. For security, the device may include a side mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button, while volume controls are likely to be positioned on the right edge.

Motorola is expected to introduce the Razr 70 in China as early as April, although the company has not yet officially confirmed the launch date.

Meanwhile, the brand has already been active in the smartphone market with recent launches. Not long ago, Motorola introduced the Edge 70 Fusion in India, targeting users looking for a powerful mid range device.

The Edge 70 Fusion features a 6.78 inch 1.5K OLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. It includes a 50 megapixel primary camera along with a 32 megapixel front camera. The device also stands out with a large 7000mAh battery and support for 68W fast charging.

With the Razr 70, Motorola appears ready to strengthen its position in the foldable smartphone segment. The combination of a dual display setup, solid hardware and refined design could make it an appealing option for users interested in premium flip phones.
