OnePlus Buds Ace 3 Set for Debut with Big Battery and Enhanced Audio Performance
New OnePlus earbuds are expected to deliver long battery life, improved noise cancellation, and gaming focused audio features alongside a smartphone launch in China later this month

OnePlus is preparing to expand its audio lineup with the upcoming launch of the OnePlus Buds Ace 3, a new pair of true wireless earbuds that promise significant upgrades in both battery life and sound performance. The company has started teasing the device, hinting that the launch could take place by the end of this month in China.
The earbuds are likely to debut alongside the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra smartphone, as suggested by recent promotional teasers. These early previews not only highlight the smartphone but also give a glimpse of the Buds Ace 3, confirming that the brand is planning a bundled announcement.
From what has been revealed so far, the OnePlus Buds Ace 3 will focus heavily on delivering a strong audio experience. The earbuds are said to support up to 55dB active noise cancellation, which could offer better isolation from background noise compared to previous models. In addition, the company is expected to include dedicated FPS audio tuning, a feature aimed at improving in game sound cues for mobile gamers.
Battery life appears to be one of the biggest highlights. Reports suggest that the earbuds, when used with the charging case, could offer a total playback time of up to 54 hours. This would mark a noticeable improvement and position the device as a strong contender for users looking for long lasting wireless audio solutions.
Design wise, the Buds Ace 3 do not stray far from the familiar look. The earbuds feature a stem based in ear design with angled tips for a comfortable fit. The charging case is compact with a clean matte finish, an LED indicator on the front, and a top opening lid. The product is expected to be available in classic black and white color options.
Looking back at the previous generation, the OnePlus Buds Ace 2 were launched in China in December 2024 at an affordable price point. They featured 12.4mm dynamic drivers, AI powered dual microphones, and support for active noise cancellation. Connectivity options included Bluetooth 5.4 along with AAC and SBC codecs, while features like low latency mode and dual device pairing added to their appeal.
The Buds Ace 2 also offered up to 43 hours of total battery life with the charging case and came with IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. Each earbud packed a 58mAh battery, while the case carried a 440mAh unit, charged via a USB Type C port.
With the Buds Ace 3, OnePlus appears to be building on this foundation by enhancing battery capacity, refining audio features, and targeting gamers with specialized tuning. More official details are expected to be revealed at launch, which could clarify pricing and availability in global markets.
