OPPO Launches K15 Pro Series with Massive Batteries and Gaming Focus in China
New OPPO K15 Pro lineup targets power users with large batteries, fast charging, smooth displays, and performance centric hardware while also delivering capable cameras and advanced cooling for gaming enthusiasts

OPPO has unveiled its latest K series smartphones in China, introducing the OPPO K15 Pro Plus and OPPO K15 Pro alongside a new smartwatch. With a clear focus on performance and endurance, the new lineup is designed to appeal to gamers and heavy smartphone users who prioritize battery life and speed.
One of the biggest talking points of the series is the battery capacity. The Pro Plus variant packs a massive 8000mAh battery, paired with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging support. Meanwhile, the standard Pro model comes with a slightly smaller but still impressive 7500mAh battery and 80W fast charging. Both devices are built to handle long hours of usage, from gaming sessions to streaming and multitasking.
The smartphones are powered by MediaTek chipsets, with the Pro Plus running on the Dimensity 9500s processor, while the Pro variant is equipped with the Dimensity 8500 Super chip. Both models feature 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, ensuring fluid performance across demanding applications. Storage options go up to 512GB, with the Pro Plus offering faster UFS 4.1 storage and the Pro model using UFS 3.1.
Display quality is another highlight. The OPPO K15 Pro Plus features a 6.78 inch Full HD Plus display with a 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1800 nits, delivering a highly responsive and vivid viewing experience. On the other hand, the OPPO K15 Pro sports a slightly smaller 6.59 inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1200 nits brightness. Both screens are designed to provide smooth visuals, especially beneficial for gaming and fast scrolling.
To keep temperatures in check during intense usage, OPPO has equipped both devices with a next generation active cooling fan system. This addition is aimed at maintaining consistent performance levels even during extended gaming sessions, reducing overheating concerns.
On the camera front, the K15 Pro series features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization and support for high quality imaging. It is paired with an 8MP ultra wide lens for broader shots. For selfies and video calls, both phones include a 16MP front camera, capable of recording 4K videos at up to 60 frames per second.
The devices run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and support dual SIM functionality. Connectivity options include essential features such as modern wireless support and USB Type C charging.
In terms of pricing, the OPPO K15 Pro Plus starts at 3499 yuan for the base variant, going up to 4199 yuan for higher storage options. The OPPO K15 Pro is priced lower, beginning at 2999 yuan and reaching up to 3499 yuan for the top variant. Both models will be available for purchase in China starting April 3 through OPPO’s official online store.
The Pro Plus variant is offered in three color options, while the Pro model comes in four distinct finishes, giving users a wider choice in design preferences.
With a strong emphasis on battery capacity, high refresh rate displays, and gaming ready hardware, OPPO’s K15 Pro series positions itself as a compelling option for users seeking power packed smartphones with modern features.
