Poco has introduced the new Pad C1 tablet featuring a 2K display Snapdragon chipset long battery backup expandable storage smart AI features and lightweight metal body for entertainment users

Poco has officially unveiled the new Poco Pad C1 tablet, aiming to deliver a balanced mix of portability, entertainment and everyday productivity. The company has equipped the tablet with a large battery, high refresh rate display and expandable storage support, making it an attractive option for users looking for an affordable multimedia device.

One of the major highlights of the Poco Pad C1 is its impressive battery life. The tablet packs a 7600mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. According to the company, users can expect more than 18 hours of audio playback, over 15 hours of online video streaming and nearly 16 hours of online reading on a single charge. Poco ships the device with a 15W charger inside the box.

The tablet comes with a slim and lightweight metal unibody design that gives it a premium in hand feel. Despite carrying a large battery, the device weighs only 406 grams and measures 7.4mm in thickness. Poco says the aluminium body is designed to offer both durability and comfortable long term usage.

For entertainment lovers, Poco has added a 9.7 inch 2K LCD display with a resolution of 2048 x 1280 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate for smoother scrolling and better responsiveness during gaming or browsing. The display also offers up to 600 nits brightness in outdoor mode, making it easier to use under sunlight.

The company has included TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker free viewing and circadian friendly usage. DC dimming support is also available to reduce eye strain during long viewing sessions. These additions make the tablet more suitable for students and users who spend hours reading or streaming content.

Under the hood, the Poco Pad C1 is powered by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor built on a 6nm architecture. The chipset is paired with Adreno 610 graphics and up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM. Users can choose up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, while the microSD card slot allows storage expansion up to 2TB.

The tablet runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. Poco has introduced several smart software features including updated lock screen customization, improved search tools and seamless interconnectivity with Xiaomi smartphones. Users can sync calls and transfer files easily between compatible Xiaomi devices connected to the same account.

Google Circle to Search support is also available on the tablet, bringing AI powered search functionality directly to the screen. Poco has additionally included AI Face Unlock for quick and secure access to the device.

In terms of multimedia, the Poco Pad C1 includes dual stereo speakers with Hi Res Audio support. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also available, which many tablet users still prefer for wired audio accessories.

For photography and video calls, the tablet features an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. Both cameras support 1080p and 720p video recording at 30fps, which should be sufficient for casual online meetings and video chats.

Connectivity options include Wi Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, dual band Wi Fi support, Miracast, Wi Fi Direct and IPv6 compatibility. The device also supports SBC, AAC and aptX audio codecs for improved wireless sound quality.

Poco has launched the Pad C1 in Blue and Grey color options. The tablet will be available in 4GB plus 64GB and 6GB plus 128GB storage variants. However, the company has not yet revealed official pricing details or the exact availability timeline for different markets.

With its large display, expandable storage, lightweight design and long battery backup, the Poco Pad C1 appears to target users who want a practical tablet for entertainment, reading and everyday work without spending heavily.
