Realme Launches C83 5G With 7000mAh Battery and 144Hz Display in Budget Segment

Smartphone brand Realme has expanded its C series lineup with the launch of the new Realme C83 5G. The device is aimed at users who want a budget friendly smartphone that delivers reliable performance along with long battery life and smooth display experience. With several upgraded features, the company is positioning the phone as a strong option in the affordable 5G smartphone segment.

One of the most notable features of the new smartphone is its massive battery capacity. The Realme C83 5G comes with a 7000mAh Titan battery, which the company claims is among the largest batteries available in this segment. The large battery is designed to provide extended usage, allowing users to go through long hours of browsing streaming and gaming without worrying about frequent charging.

Charging capabilities have also been included to support everyday use. The device supports 15W PD and 15W DCP charging, and according to the company it takes around 180 minutes for a full charge. In addition, the smartphone offers 5W wired reverse charging, enabling users to share battery power with other devices whenever necessary.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which is built on a 6nm manufacturing process. This octa core processor includes two Cortex A76 performance cores running at 2.4GHz along with six efficiency cores, providing balanced performance for multitasking gaming and 5G connectivity. The smartphone is available with 4GB and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM options, while storage variants include 64GB and 128GB.

To further enhance performance, the phone includes Dynamic RAM Expansion technology. With this feature, users can extend the available RAM using internal storage, increasing the total RAM capacity up to 18GB. This helps the device maintain smoother performance while running multiple applications.

The display is another highlight of the smartphone. The Realme C83 5G features a large 6.7 inch LCD screen that supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz. This high refresh rate ensures smoother scrolling animations and improved responsiveness during gaming and everyday navigation.

Realme has also added an AI Outdoor Mode designed to improve usability in bright environments. When activated, the feature automatically enhances system performance boosts speaker volume improves network responsiveness and increases display brightness to make the device easier to use under direct sunlight.

For thermal management, the smartphone includes an Airflow VC cooling system that uses a large vapor chamber to control heat during heavy tasks. This system helps maintain stable performance even during extended gaming sessions or intensive multitasking.

Durability is another aspect the company has emphasized. The device features military grade shock resistance along with IP64 dust and water resistance, making it more resilient for everyday usage. The phone also includes a 300 percent super volume feature designed to deliver louder and clearer audio output for calls media playback and notifications.

In terms of design, the smartphone weighs around 212 grams and is offered in two color options called Flame Green and Flame Blue. Security features include a side mounted fingerprint sensor for quick and convenient unlocking.

The Realme C83 5G is available in multiple configurations. The base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at 13499 rupees. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version costs 14499 rupees, while the top model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 17499 rupees. The smartphone will be available for purchase through Flipkart and the official Realme website, with sales scheduled to begin on March 7.
