Budget smartphone buyers looking for long battery life may soon have a new option to consider. The Realme P4 Lite 4G is scheduled to make its India debut on February 20, and early details shared through an official Flipkart microsite suggest a strong focus on durability and endurance.
Despite housing a massive 6300mAh battery, the device measures just 7.94 mm in thickness, positioning it as one of the slimmest phones in its category with such a large power unit. Weighing 201 grams, the handset features an aluminum reinforced structure and carries a military grade shock resistant rating. The company claims the phone can withstand accidental drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters. It is also rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance, and the display is designed to respond accurately even with wet hands.
Battery performance appears to be a headline feature. Realme says the phone can last up to two days on a single charge. It is equipped with 15W wired fast charging via a Type C port, and the charger will be included in the box. The device also supports 6W reverse charging, allowing users to power other gadgets. According to company claims, a full charge can deliver over 20 hours of YouTube streaming, 19 hours of Instagram browsing, 46.5 hours of calling time, or more than 13 hours of continuous gaming. Even a quick five minute charge is said to provide a few hours of calling or music playback.
On the front, the phone sports a 6.74 inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 563 nits. Touch sampling can go up to 180Hz, promising responsive scrolling and smoother interactions. Under the hood, the handset runs on an octa core chipset, though the exact processor name has not yet been revealed. The company states that the device can handle up to 14 apps running simultaneously and has achieved a score of 280K on the Antutu benchmark test. It will offer up to 18GB dynamic RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Photography features include a 13 megapixel rear camera housed in a square shaped module alongside an LED flash. The camera setup supports Night Mode for improved low light shots. Realme is also adding several AI powered tools such as AI Eraser, AI Call Noise Reduction 2.0, AI Clear Face, AI Image Matting and Circle to Search. On the software front, the phone will run on Android 15 based Realme UI and include features like Mini Capsule, Always On Display and enhanced privacy controls. The handset also promises 300 percent ultra volume output for louder audio.
The Realme P4 Lite 4G will be available in Obsidian Black, Sea Blue and Beach Golden color options. With its combination of slim design, rugged build and oversized battery, Realme appears to be targeting users who want reliability and long lasting performance without stretching their budget.
