Redmi May Launch High Battery Smartphones with Ultra Fast Charging
Leaks suggest Redmi is testing three new smartphones with massive batteries high refresh rate displays and advanced cameras targeting power users seeking longer usage and faster charging performance

Fresh leaks indicate that Redmi is preparing a major upgrade to its smartphone lineup, focusing heavily on battery life and charging speed. The company is reportedly working on three new devices that could redefine endurance in the mid to premium segment.
According to information shared by well known tipster Digital Chat Station, these upcoming smartphones are currently under internal testing. The devices are expected to eventually debut under the Redmi Note 17 series, though official confirmation is still awaited.
One of the biggest highlights from the leak is the massive battery capacity. The new models are said to feature batteries as large as 10000mAh, a significant jump compared to current standards. This could make them particularly appealing to users who rely on their phones for extended gaming, streaming, or work sessions without frequent charging.
Alongside battery improvements, charging speed is also expected to see a major boost. Reports suggest that at least one model, likely the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, may support 100W fast charging. Even if global variants ship with slightly reduced battery sizes around 9210mAh, the combination of large capacity and fast charging could still deliver a strong advantage in daily usage.
Camera capabilities are another area where Redmi appears to be pushing boundaries. The Pro Max variant is rumored to include a 200 megapixel primary camera, possibly using a Samsung HP5 sensor. Supporting cameras may include an ultra wide lens with an Omnivision sensor, while the front camera could feature a 32 megapixel setup designed for selfies and video calls.
Display technology is also expected to play a key role in these devices. The upcoming phones may feature 1.5K resolution panels with LTPS technology, offering sharp visuals and improved power efficiency. High refresh rates between 120Hz and 144Hz are likely, ensuring smoother scrolling and better performance during gaming and video playback.
In terms of design, Redmi is said to be working on a premium build with a metal frame. Security features could include an in display optical fingerprint scanner, aligning the devices with modern flagship trends.
While excitement around these leaks is growing, it is important to note that the company has not officially confirmed any specifications or launch timelines. However, if these features make it to the final product, Redmi’s next generation smartphones could set new benchmarks for battery performance and overall user experience in their category.
