Samsung is set to unveil two new Galaxy A series smartphones in India featuring water resistance powerful cameras smooth displays and long battery life targeting the competitive mid range segment

South Korean tech giant Samsung has officially confirmed the launch of its next generation Galaxy A series smartphones in India, with the event scheduled for March 25. The announcement has already generated buzz among buyers looking for feature packed devices in the mid range category.
The company is expected to introduce the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G and Samsung Galaxy A57 5G during the launch event. Both models are likely to build on the popularity of the Galaxy A lineup, which has consistently attracted users with its balance of performance and affordability.
Samsung has teased the upcoming launch on its official social media platforms, revealing that the event will take place in the evening. A dedicated product page is also live, hinting at key highlights and showcasing glimpses of the phones’ design, including a sleek side profile.
Among the two, the Galaxy A57 5G is expected to be positioned as the more premium offering. Reports suggest it could feature a 6.6 inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering a smoother viewing experience for gaming and video streaming. It is also likely to be powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset, promising improved performance over earlier models.
The Galaxy A37 5G, on the other hand, is expected to cater to users looking for solid features at a slightly lower price point. It may come equipped with the Exynos 1480 processor, previously seen in other A series devices, along with a similar battery and charging setup as its higher end sibling.
Both smartphones are tipped to include a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. This setup is expected to offer extended usage along with quick recharge times, making the devices suitable for users with demanding daily routines.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Galaxy A37 5G could feature a triple rear camera system, including a 50 megapixel primary sensor, an ultra wide lens, and a macro camera. The Galaxy A57 5G is also expected to offer a strong camera setup, continuing Samsung’s focus on photography in the mid range segment.
Durability is likely to be a key highlight this year, with both devices expected to carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. This means the phones can handle splashes, rain, and even brief submersion, adding an extra layer of reliability for everyday use.
With improved displays, upgraded processors, and enhanced durability, Samsung appears to be strengthening its position in the competitive mid range smartphone market. Buyers planning to upgrade their devices may find these upcoming launches worth waiting for as the company aims to deliver a well rounded experience across both models.
