Just hours before their official debut, key details about Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Samsung Galaxy A37 5G have surfaced online, giving buyers a clear idea of what to expect. The leaked pricing suggests that Samsung is aiming to strengthen its position in both the mid range and upper mid range smartphone segments.
According to early reports, the Galaxy A57 5G will be positioned as the more premium offering. The device is expected to come in two configurations, with the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant priced around Rs 56999, while the 12GB RAM version could go up to approximately Rs 62499. This pricing places it firmly in the premium mid range category, where users typically expect top tier features.
On the other hand, the Galaxy A37 5G is likely to target a wider audience with relatively affordable pricing. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is expected to start near Rs 41999. Higher variants, including 8GB with 256GB storage and 12GB with 256GB storage, could be priced around Rs 47499 and Rs 52999 respectively. This range provides flexibility for buyers with different budgets and requirements.
In terms of specifications, both smartphones are expected to share some similarities, especially in display quality. Reports suggest that each device could feature a 6.7 inch Full HD Plus Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and vibrant colors for daily use and entertainment.
Performance is where the two models begin to differ. The Galaxy A57 5G is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1680 processor, offering improved speed and efficiency over previous generations. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 5G may feature the slightly more modest Exynos 1480 chipset, designed to balance performance and power consumption.
Camera capabilities also remain a strong focus. Both devices are likely to include a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, supported by ultra wide and macro lenses. For selfies, a 12MP front camera is expected on both models, catering to video calls and social media use.
Battery performance is expected to be consistent across the lineup, with both smartphones featuring a 5000mAh battery and support for 45W fast charging. Additionally, the devices are likely to run on Android 16 based One UI 8.5, with reports suggesting up to six years of software and security updates, a move that could appeal to long term users.
With a mix of competitive pricing, strong specifications, and extended software support, the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G appear set to make a significant impact in their respective categories once officially launched.
