Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G to Launch in India With Leather Finish and Big Battery

Samsung is ready to expand its smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the Galaxy F70e 5G on February 9. The device will mark the beginning of the new Galaxy F70 lineup and is expected to target budget conscious buyers looking for long term value and modern design.

Ahead of the official launch the company has revealed several details through a dedicated microsite on Flipkart. One of the standout elements is the leather finish rear panel which gives the phone a premium look rarely seen in this price segment. The smartphone will be offered in Lime Light Green and Spotlight Blue colour options.

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy F70e 5G will feature a display supporting up to 120Hz refresh rate with peak brightness of 800 nits. The screen size is expected to be around 6.7 inches with HD Plus resolution making it suitable for daily media consumption and smooth scrolling.

On the camera front the phone will come with a dual rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor along with a 2 megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls the device will house an 8 megapixel front camera aimed at casual photography needs.

Powering the smartphone will be the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. Samsung has also highlighted long term software reliability as the phone will receive six operating system upgrades along with six years of security updates offering users extended device life.

Battery performance is another major focus area. The Galaxy F70e 5G will pack a 6000mAh battery which the company claims can last through a full day and night on a single charge. The phone will also come with IP54 rating providing basic protection against dust and water splashes.

While Samsung has not officially announced the price industry sources suggest the Galaxy F70e 5G could be priced under Rs 15000 in India. The phone is expected to offer up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and will be available for purchase via Flipkart and the Samsung India website after launch.
