Sony BRAVIA 7II Smart TV Series Launches in India with Cinema Like Experience
Sony has launched BRAVIA 7II television series in India with advanced RGB technology, powerful audio, gaming features, large screen sizes and premium design for home cinema entertainment experience market launch

The new Sony BRAVIA 7II television lineup has officially arrived in India and is now available through multiple retail channels including Sony Centers, exclusive stores, major offline retailers and online platforms. The series starts with the 55 inch model priced at 2,21,990 rupees while the 65 inch version is priced at 2,74,990 rupees. Larger variants such as 75 inch, 85 inch and 98 inch are expected to join the lineup later, with availability expanding gradually across the market.
At the core of this new television series is Sony’s advanced True RGB technology designed to enhance picture quality in a more precise way. The system independently controls red, green and blue LEDs to deliver improved brightness accuracy, deeper blacks and more natural contrast. This approach helps reduce light blooming while making colors appear more realistic and closer to real world visuals, especially in dark and bright mixed scenes.
The display performance is further enhanced by Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR which analyzes visuals in a human like way to produce balanced output. It improves contrast levels, reduces unwanted noise and upgrades lower resolution content closer to near 4K clarity. Motion handling is also smoother during fast moving scenes, making it suitable for sports and action viewing without blur or lag in visual transitions.
Sound performance has also been given strong attention in this series. The television delivers up to 40W audio output supported by Dolby Atmos and DTS X technology for a more immersive experience. Voice clarity is improved through AI based dialogue enhancement while sound positioning technology aligns audio with on screen action. This creates a more theater like experience even in a home environment.
For gaming users, the BRAVIA 7II offers HDMI 2.1 support with 4K at 120 frames per second along with VRR and ALLM features. It also includes gaming tools like crosshair settings, black equalizer and motion control options. PlayStation users benefit from features such as auto HDR tone mapping and optimized picture modes designed to improve console gameplay experience.
The smart television runs on Google TV, providing access to a large library of apps, movies and streaming services. It supports Google Assistant for voice commands along with Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2 integration. Compatibility with smart home ecosystems such as Alexa and Apple HomeKit adds further convenience, while future updates are expected to bring AI driven recommendations for a more personalized experience.
Design wise, the BRAVIA 7II follows a modern minimal approach with slim edges and a premium stand design. The larger models come with a different stand structure for stability. The television also includes protection features against dust, moisture and power fluctuations, making it more reliable for long term use. Energy monitoring tools are also included to help users track consumption more efficiently.
