Xiaomi Introduces Ultra Thin Magnetic Power Bank for Wireless Charging

Xiaomi has expanded availability of its ultra thin magnetic power bank offering cable free charging lightweight design and pocket friendly form factor aimed at frequent travelers and everyday smartphone users

Carrying a power bank has long meant adding extra weight and bulk to pockets or bags but Xiaomi is trying to change that perception. The company has introduced an ultra thin magnetic power bank designed for users who want backup power without the usual inconvenience.

Xiaomi has quietly expanded the availability of this accessory beyond Asia. After debuting in Japan the magnetic power bank is now listed in several European markets making it accessible to a wider group of users who prefer minimalist gadgets.

The most striking feature is its slim profile. With a thickness of just 6mm the power bank is even thinner than a standard pencil. It is also lighter than most alternatives weighing only 98 grams which makes it easy to carry throughout the day without noticing the extra load.

Instead of relying on cables the device uses magnetic wireless charging. It attaches securely to compatible smartphones using a ring style magnetic system allowing users to charge their phones on the move without plugging anything in. This design works well with newer iPhone models and supported Android devices such as recent Pixel and flagship phones.

Despite its slim build the power bank packs a 5000mAh battery. It supports up to 15W wireless charging and can deliver up to 22.5W output through the USB C port when wired charging is needed. Due to platform limitations wireless charging on iPhones is capped at 7.5W while many Android phones can draw higher wireless power.

Xiaomi is clearly targeting travelers and daily commuters who want a simple backup battery that does not add bulk to luggage or pockets. The power bank feels more like an extension of the phone rather than a heavy accessory.

In the United Kingdom the Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank is listed on the company’s official website at a price of £49.99 which is roughly equivalent to 6300 rupees. With its sleek design and cable free convenience the device aims to stand out in an increasingly crowded accessories market.
