The government also approved another Reliance proposal to develop a solar power plant and battery energy storage system in Sathya Sai district with an investment of nearly Rs.51,000 crore.
In Kadapa district, approval was granted for Adani Hydro Energy’s pumped storage project valued at Rs.12,000 crore. Meanwhile, Royal Enfield received permission to establish a motorcycle manufacturing facility in Tirupati with a proposed investment of Rs.2,500 crore.

Speaking during the meeting, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu instructed officials to ensure that all approved projects move quickly from agreement stage to foundation and commercial operations without unnecessary delays.
He stressed that companies must strictly follow timelines from project initiation to production while government departments should process all approvals without wasting even a single day.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the need to build a strong investment friendly image for Andhra Pradesh and said the state must stand out from competitors in attracting global industries and businesses.
Apart from large industries, Chandrababu Naidu also directed officials to focus equally on supporting MSMEs. He said small and medium enterprises would play an important role in promoting entrepreneurship and generating employment opportunities at the grassroots level.
The government is also planning to strengthen industrial infrastructure by improving gas pipeline connectivity in industrial zones. Officials discussed opportunities in food processing and value addition for crops such as oil palm, mango, coconut and cocoa to improve farmer incomes and encourage agro based industries.
Senior ministers, top bureaucrats and department officials participated in the meeting, while some representatives joined virtually during the discussions on investment approvals and industrial expansion plans.
