Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha experienced sudden discomfort while attending the Assembly session on Thursday, prompting immediate medical attention. The incident briefly caused concern among fellow members and officials present in the House.

Doctors who examined her shortly after the incident reported that her blood pressure had risen significantly. Following the preliminary assessment, medical staff recommended that she be moved to a hospital in Vijayawada for further observation and treatment.

After receiving medical care, Anitha later reassured the public and party members about her health condition. She stated that she was feeling better and that the discomfort was caused mainly due to fatigue.
