Political controversy has intensified after a case was registered against political analyst Professor K Nageshwar following comments made during a television discussion. The complaint was lodged by Jana Sena workers, who alleged that his statements involved misleading and inappropriate remarks about senior political leaders.

According to the complaint, Nageshwar had reportedly spoken about a previous meeting involving Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Minister Nadendla Manohar with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. During the debate, he allegedly claimed that the leaders had requested action against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and referred to a conversation that was said to have taken place during that meeting.

Jana Sena members argued that the comments attributed words to Amit Shah that were never actually spoken and claimed that such statements could create confusion among the public. They alleged that the remarks presented inaccurate information and could influence public perception.

Following the complaint, police at Indrapalem Police Station in Kakinada district registered a case against Professor K Nageshwar as well as the television channel that aired the discussion. The issue quickly gained political attention, and officials have now begun an investigation into the matter.
