Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy appeared before the Public Representatives Court on Saturday in connection with a case linked to election campaigning during the Covid period. The case was registered under the jurisdiction of Kamalapur Police Station and relates to allegations of violating Covid guidelines during election activities.

The court had directed the Chief Minister to be present for the examination process. Following the instructions issued by Judge Sridevi, Revanth Reddy attended the hearing and responded to questions raised during the proceedings.

During the examination, the court referred to witness statements that alleged election campaigning had been conducted without the required permissions and in violation of Covid regulations. Responding to the observations, Revanth Reddy denied the allegations and told the court that he had not committed any wrongdoing.

After hearing the matter, the judge postponed further proceedings in the case until June 4. The court will continue the examination process on the next scheduled date.

Meanwhile, another case related to election campaigning was also taken up for hearing. This matter was registered at Huzurabad Police Station and concerns allegations of campaigning without following traffic regulations.

The court reviewed the details of the second case and decided to adjourn the hearing. The next hearing in the Huzurabad case has been scheduled for June 8.

The proceedings mark the continuation of legal scrutiny over complaints registered during the election period, with both matters set to return before the court in the coming days.
