Hyderabad police have exposed a drug supply operation in Mehdipatnam involving the illegal sale of MDMA. During the raid, officers seized more than 137 grams of the banned substance along with several items connected to the racket.

Authorities said the total value of the confiscated MDMA is estimated at nearly Rs 26.80 lakh. A luxury Volvo vehicle, nine mobile phones, packing covers and a weighing machine were also recovered from the accused.

Investigators identified M Shubham Kumar Mishra as the main person behind the operation. Police said he allegedly sourced drugs through his friend Sai Nikhil Yadav, who had already been arrested in a previous narcotics case.

Even after his associate was sent to jail, Shubham reportedly continued selling MDMA with the support of two friends. Police stated that the gang packed the drugs into small quantities before sending them to customers in different areas.

Officials suspect the accused used Rapido bike rides to quietly move the drug packets without attracting attention. In some cases, the deliveries were allegedly handled personally by members of the gang and their close associates.

The arrests were made during a joint operation conducted by the Golconda Task Force and Mehdipatnam police. Along with the main accused, police also detained a few individuals who were allegedly purchasing drugs from the network.
