In a significant organizational move, BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided to dissolve all party committees except the state level body. The announcement was made during a key executive meeting held at Telangana Bhavan, signaling a major reset within the party structure.
As part of the overhaul, KCR entrusted party working president K T Rama Rao with crucial responsibilities, including the formation of new committees at various levels. He directed that fresh appointments be made soon and emphasized the need for structured training programs to strengthen the party’s grassroots network.
During the meeting, KCR also expressed concern over the current situation in Telangana, particularly highlighting the difficulties faced by farmers. He alleged that the government is struggling to manage paddy procurement and questioned its overall functioning, stating that the administration appears ineffective in addressing key issues.
The BRS chief further reacted sharply to recent remarks made about Telangana by a Karnataka BJP MP. He criticized the silence of leaders from the state, saying no one countered the comments. KCR remarked that had BRS MPs been present, the response would have been far more aggressive inside Parliament.
The meeting underlined both internal restructuring and strong political messaging, as KCR aimed to reorganize the party while positioning it firmly on issues affecting the state.
