Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, arrived at Visakhapatnam Airport on Monday, marking the beginning of a busy schedule in the port city. His visit is focused on key academic and industry engagements.
A large number of leaders, public representatives, and party workers from the Telugu Desam Party gathered at the airport to welcome him. The reception turned into a vibrant show of support, with placards and slogans highlighting his role in promoting employment and development.
Lokesh interacted warmly with those who came to greet him, taking time to acknowledge supporters and local leaders. The welcome was reportedly organised under the leadership of party functionaries, adding a festive atmosphere at the airport premises.
The minister is in the city to participate in the centenary celebrations of Andhra University, scheduled to be held at the engineering college grounds later in the day. The event is expected to witness the presence of several prominent dignitaries.
Among those likely to attend are C. P. Radhakrishnan and N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with other notable figures. Lokesh is also expected to join the Chief Minister in welcoming guests attending the celebrations.
