More than 20 lakh aspirants appeared for the exam this year, reflecting the intense competition for medical seats across the country. The examination was held in hundreds of cities across India, along with multiple international centres, ensuring wide accessibility for candidates.
Authorities had enforced strict guidelines at every exam centre to maintain fairness and order. Students were allowed entry from 11 am, but gates were firmly closed at 1 30 pm, with no late entries permitted. Verification procedures were thorough, requiring candidates to present admit cards, photographs and valid identification before being allowed inside.
