One of the key projects announced was the four lane highway construction between Suraram and Mahabubnagar under the Hyderabad Panaji Economic Corridor. The 84 kilometre project is being developed at a cost of Rs 3180 crore and is expected to improve regional road connectivity significantly.

The Prime Minister also dedicated the Kazipet Vijayawada multi tracking railway project to the nation. The railway expansion covers 118 kilometres and has been developed with an investment of around Rs 1200 crore to improve rail movement and reduce congestion.

Another major project inaugurated was the Kazipet Rail Under Bypass built at a cost of Rs 2300 crore. Officials said the 21 kilometre bypass will help streamline train operations near Kazipet Junction.

Modi also launched a Greenfield Petroleum Oil and Lubricants terminal developed by Indian Oil Corporation at Malkapur. In addition, he laid the foundation stone for the PM MITRA Park planned inside the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park with an investment of Rs 1700 crore.

He stated that the newly launched projects would create thousands of employment opportunities and further strengthen Telangana’s connectivity.

The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the textile industry in India’s economic history and expressed confidence that the PM MITRA Park in Warangal would accelerate a new textile revolution in the country.

Speaking about infrastructure expansion, Modi said the national highway network in Telangana has doubled over the last eleven years and that the Centre has invested nearly Rs 1.75 lakh crore in highway development projects in the state.

He also noted that Telangana alone received a railway budget allocation of Rs 5500 crore this year, compared to less than Rs 1000 crore during the united Andhra Pradesh period. According to him, railway projects worth around Rs 50000 crore are currently under construction in the state.

The Prime Minister further stressed the importance of energy security and renewable energy investments, adding that India has emerged as one of the leading nations in solar power development. He assured that the Centre would continue investing heavily in infrastructure projects aimed at improving opportunities for Telangana’s youth and families.
