The Telangana government has introduced a new healthcare initiative aimed at strengthening medical security for employees and pensioners across the state. As part of the move, authorities have set up a dedicated Employee Health Care Trust to improve access to healthcare services and streamline benefit delivery.
To support the implementation of the scheme, the Finance Department has issued urgent instructions to all government departments. Officials have been directed to gather and submit complete employee information, including details of family members, to ensure smooth rollout of the health coverage system.
The government has also started a large scale data collection process covering employees and pensioners across the state. According to officials, the information will play a major role in future healthcare benefits, including medical support and cashless treatment facilities.
Authorities have instructed departments to upload all required details through the IFMIS HR portal before the specified deadline. Officials also cautioned that delays in submitting the required information could create difficulties in receiving future health scheme benefits.
The initiative reflects the government’s focus on improving healthcare access while creating a more transparent and efficient system for managing employee welfare services.
