TG DEECET 2026 Applications Begin March 15 for Teacher Education Courses

The Telangana government has released the notification for TG DEECET 2026 inviting applications for admission into diploma level teacher education courses. The entrance examination is conducted for students seeking admission into Diploma in Elementary Education and Diploma in Preschool Education programmes.
Officials announced that the application process for TG DEECET 2026 will begin on March 15. Candidates will be able to submit their applications online until April 15.
The entrance test will be conducted in computer based format on May 21 and May 22. The examination is required for admission into two year courses offered by government District Institutes of Education and Training as well as private unaided elementary teacher education institutions across Telangana.
According to the official schedule released by the convener G Ramesh, candidates from Scheduled Castes Scheduled Tribes and persons with disabilities will need to pay an application fee of four hundred fifty rupees. For all other applicants the fee has been fixed at five hundred rupees. Payments must be made through the online payment gateway.
Hall tickets for the examination will be available for download between May 15 and May 21. After the examination is conducted the preliminary answer key will be released on May 25.
Authorities plan to announce the results on May 30. Following the results certificate verification will be carried out from June 1 to June 5.
Candidates will then be able to exercise their web options for college selection from June 6 to June 8. An opportunity to edit the web options will be provided until June 9.
Seat allotment for TG DEECET 2026 will be announced on June 14. Students who receive seats must pay the tuition fee between June 14 and June 17 to confirm their admission.
Officials also confirmed that the academic session for the teacher education courses will begin from July 1. The entrance examination will play a crucial role in selecting candidates for these teacher training programmes across the state.
