Tirumala Sees Reduced Devotee Rush Waiting Time Drops for Darshan
Devotee rush at Tirumala has eased with shorter waiting times for darshan while thousands continue to visit temple as officials report steady footfall and significant hundi collections

Tirumala witnessed a noticeable decline in devotee rush, bringing some relief to pilgrims seeking darshan. Compared to previous days, waiting times have reduced, making the process smoother for visitors arriving at the hill shrine.
At present, devotees opting for free darshan are waiting in around ten compartments, with the total time for Sarva Darshan taking close to eight hours. Those choosing the 300 rupees special entry darshan are able to complete their visit within two to three hours, while pilgrims who secured SSD tokens are experiencing waiting times between three to five hours.
Despite the reduced crowd levels, the temple continues to receive a steady flow of devotees. On the previous day alone, a total of 83091 pilgrims had darshan of the deity, reflecting the continued spiritual significance of the shrine.
The number of devotees offering hair as part of their vows also remained high, with 27670 people participating in the ritual. In addition, the temple recorded hundi collections amounting to 5.06 crore rupees, indicating sustained contributions from visiting devotees.
Officials are closely monitoring the situation to ensure smooth arrangements for pilgrims, as Tirumala continues to remain one of the most visited spiritual destinations in the country.
