  • Complaints filed from home in ten minutes.
  • Age responsive AI aids women and seniors.

A group of students from Andhra Pradesh has unveiled a smart AI powered solution that could change the way citizens approach policing. Designed for the general public especially women senior citizens and children the system allows police complaints to be registered from home in just ten minutes.

For many people visiting a police station is stressful and time consuming. Long waiting hours fear and hesitation often prevent victims from reporting issues. The AI system addresses this gap by enabling users to file complaints through a simple conversation without stepping outside their homes.

What makes the innovation stand out is its human like interaction. The AI adjusts its tone and language based on the age of the person speaking. When a child uses the system it responds gently and patiently. With elderly users it communicates clearly and calmly gathering details in a respectful manner.

Traditionally registering a complaint can take several hours at a police station. With this system a short phone call or guided interaction is enough. The AI collects all necessary information automatically prepares the complaint and forwards it to the concerned police officials for action.

The students say their aim was to remove fear from the reporting process and make justice more accessible. Victims can explain their problems comfortably without pressure and with complete privacy which is especially helpful in sensitive cases.

The project is now moving to the next stage with plans to integrate the system with WhatsApp. This would allow users to submit complaints through messages or voice notes making the process even more user friendly.

Experts believe the innovation could bring a major shift in policing by encouraging faster reporting and quicker response. If adopted widely the AI system could play a crucial role in ensuring timely justice and building trust between citizens and law enforcement.
