The third edition of the World Telugu Conference begins today at the KIMS campus in Amalapuram, marking a major cultural moment for Telugu language lovers. The two day event is designed to strengthen the global presence of Telugu and inspire greater interest among the younger generation.
District Collector R Mahesh Kumar and Superintendent of Police Rahul Meena reviewed the arrangements on Friday, including helipad facilities at Cheyyeru village in Katrinikonam mandal. Officials inspected the venue infrastructure and issued clear instructions to ensure smooth coordination and flawless execution of the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said the conference would serve as a strong platform to showcase the richness of Telugu culture worldwide. He confirmed that S Abdul Nazeer and Kambhampati Hari will attend the event scheduled for February 28 and March 1.
Apart from the governors, eminent scholars, writers, cultural leaders and distinguished guests from neighboring states and other countries are expected to participate. Authorities have made elaborate arrangements for accommodation, transport, hospitality and security to ensure a warm and dignified welcome for all delegates.
Officials reviewed seating plans, sound and visual systems, security measures and guest movement protocols. Special emphasis has been placed on guest reception, assistance at the venue and respectful send off procedures throughout the conference.
The district administration and organizing committee stated that extensive preparations have been completed to host discussions, cultural sessions and interactive forums over two days. Citizens and Telugu language enthusiasts have been encouraged to actively support the event and contribute to making the World Telugu Conference a memorable success.
