Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at his Undavalli residence on Tuesday morning, setting the stage for detailed discussions on governance and development priorities. Sources indicate that the Chandrababu Pawan Kalyan meeting focused primarily on departments handled by the Deputy Chief Minister, including Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, and Forest. Both leaders reviewed the progress of ongoing schemes and assessed the pace of implementation across districts.

A major part of the discussion reportedly revolved around the Jal Jeevan Mission. The leaders examined the status of drinking water projects, allocation of funds, and utilization patterns to ensure timely completion. Road development works under the Panchayat Raj department were also reviewed, with constituency wise fund distribution coming up for evaluation.

Pawan Kalyan is said to have briefed the Chief Minister on the construction of magic drains being taken up in various panchayats. The proposal to expand such drainage systems across more villages was also discussed as part of long term rural infrastructure planning.

In addition, the two leaders deliberated on desilting works in irrigation department drains during the summer season. The aim, officials said, is to complete the works before the sowing season so that farmers do not face water related challenges.

Apart from administrative matters, the leaders are believed to have exchanged views on recent political developments in the state.
