New Delhi: Air India has announced the operation of 30 flights for Gulf passengers today, even as it continues to limit services on certain Middle East routes. The airline, along with Air India Express, confirmed that both scheduled and special flights are being operated after securing necessary approvals.

Despite ongoing restrictions in parts of West Asia, the airline is maintaining connectivity to key destinations. A total of 10 flights are operating between India and Jeddah. Air India is running return services from Delhi and Mumbai, while Air India Express is handling flights from Bengaluru, Kozhikode, and Mangaluru.

In addition to Jeddah services, Air India Express is operating four scheduled flights each to Muscat and Riyadh. These routes remain active, ensuring continued travel options for passengers heading to major Gulf cities.

The airline group is also running 12 special flights to destinations in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Passengers can travel to cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah through these additional services, which are being operated with official clearances.

However, Air India has clarified that there will be no flights to certain destinations for now. Services to Ras Al Khaimah, Al Ain, Salalah, Dammam, Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait, and Tel Aviv have been temporarily suspended. Passengers planning travel to these locations will need to explore alternative arrangements.

Flights to other international regions, including North America, Europe, and Australia, continue to operate as per schedule without any disruption.

To support affected passengers, Air India has introduced flexible options. Travelers booked on suspended routes can rebook their tickets without additional charges or opt for a full refund. The airline has advised passengers to use its official website or customer support services for assistance, while Air India Express has also enabled rebooking through WhatsApp for added convenience.
