Bhadrachalam has turned into a sea of devotion as the grand Sita Rama Kalyanam is being celebrated with unmatched spiritual fervor, drawing thousands of devotees from across the country.
The temple town, often called the southern Ayodhya, is witnessing vibrant celebrations as part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam festivities. Elaborate arrangements have been made to ensure that devotees can witness the sacred ceremony in a smooth and organized manner.
The Kalyanam is being held at the specially prepared Mithila Stadium, where the venue has been designed to reflect the divine setting of Mithila. The stage is beautifully decorated, creating a spiritual atmosphere that enhances the experience for devotees.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with his spouse, is participating in the ceremony and will offer silk clothes and traditional talambralu to the deity on behalf of the state government.
Ahead of the main event, the temple priests conducted the important Edurkolu ritual, where symbolic exchanges take place between the families of the divine couple. This ritual, performed with devotion and traditional chants, is considered a key part of the wedding ceremony.
Large numbers of devotees have gathered not only from Telugu states but also from different parts of the country to witness the sacred union. The atmosphere is filled with devotion, music, and rituals that reflect the cultural richness of the festival.
