The Andhra Pradesh government has carried out a fresh round of IAS transfers, introducing several key administrative changes across the state. Officials said the reshuffle is aimed at strengthening governance and improving efficiency in various departments.

As part of the new appointments, S Shan Mohan has been posted as CEO of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board APEDB. Dinesh Kumar has been assigned as Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation APIIC, a move expected to support industrial growth.

Significant changes have also been made at the district level. Saikant Varma has been appointed as the Collector of Guntur district, while M Abhishikt Kishore will take charge as the Collector of Visakhapatnam district. The government has also named M N Harendra Prasad as the Collector of Kakinada district.

In another important appointment, T Nishanthi has been given responsibility as the Collector of Alluri Sitarama Raju district, reflecting the government’s focus on administrative strengthening in newly formed regions.

The education sector has also seen a key change, with Tamimin Ansariya appointed as Director of School Education. Officials believe this will help in better implementation of education policies and reforms.

The government stated that these IAS transfers are part of a broader effort to streamline administration and ensure effective delivery of services across Andhra Pradesh. The reshuffle is expected to bring renewed momentum in governance and development activities throughout the state.
