Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Batti Vikramarka has informed the public about the progress of the Musi river rejuvenation project through a post on his X account, highlighting the government’s commitment to transparency and public involvement.

He stated that a detailed review meeting was conducted at the Dr BR Ambedkar State Secretariat with senior officials to assess the progress of the Musi rejuvenation works. The minister emphasized that the entire project will be carried out in a transparent and democratic manner, ensuring accountability at every stage.

To encourage citizen participation, the government has launched an online feedback initiative. People can share their suggestions and ideas regarding the project between March 31 and April 15 by sending emails to musirdc@gmail.com. The minister assured that every valuable suggestion received from the public will be carefully reviewed by officials.

He further mentioned that if required, sub committee members will directly interact with individuals who provide important inputs to better understand their suggestions. This approach aims to make the project more inclusive and aligned with public expectations.

Officials have been instructed to accelerate key areas such as project design rehabilitation measures coordination with defense authorities and discussions with banks. The government is focusing on timely execution through better coordination among departments.

Batti Vikramarka reiterated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the government is committed to shaping the Musi rejuvenation project based on people’s needs and ensuring its successful completion. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar also attended the review meeting.
