The state is set to experience contrasting weather conditions over the next two days, with both rainfall and intense heat expected in different regions. Officials from the disaster management authority have issued an alert, urging people to stay cautious.
According to the latest update, atmospheric circulations over the Bay of Bengal and Rayalaseema region are influencing the weather pattern. These systems are likely to bring cloud cover along with thunderstorms in several districts, while other areas may continue to face rising temperatures.
Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by lightning is expected in parts of North Coastal Andhra and coastal regions on Monday and Tuesday. At the same time, certain districts will witness hot weather conditions, creating a mix of rain and heat across the state.
Officials also warned of heatwave like conditions in specific mandals, including areas in Polavaram district and parts of NTR district. Residents in these regions have been advised to take precautions against extreme temperatures.
The sudden variation in weather is being attributed to changing wind patterns and moisture movement from the Bay of Bengal. Experts say such conditions are common during seasonal transitions but can still pose risks, especially due to lightning and heat exposure.
Authorities have advised people to remain alert, avoid outdoor activities during peak heat hours, and take necessary safety measures during thunderstorms.
