Telangana Ranks Top 3 in Talent Availability as Hyderabad Emerges as Major Professional Hub

Telangana has secured a place among the top three states in India for talent availability, reinforcing its position as a growing hub for skilled professionals. According to the latest Xpheno report, the state stands out with a strong positive talent balance, reflecting a steady inflow of expertise.

Hyderabad has emerged as the focal point of this growth, becoming a preferred destination for Global Capability Centers and technology driven industries. Experts attribute this rise to supportive government policies, robust infrastructure and a thriving employment ecosystem.

Data shows that while over 77000 professionals moved into Telangana, around 52000 exited during the same period, leaving a net gain of more than 25000 skilled individuals. This positive balance places the state among a select group of regions leading in talent retention and attraction.

The state is home to nearly 48 lakh white collar professionals, with a significant portion comprising experienced workforce. The IT sector dominates the landscape with a major share, playing a key role in driving employment and innovation.

Each year, Telangana produces a large number of engineering graduates, further strengthening its talent pipeline. In addition, professionals from cities like Bengaluru are increasingly showing interest in relocating to Hyderabad, while international talent is also beginning to flow into the state.

The report highlights that Hyderabad’s rapid growth as a professional hub is not limited to domestic migration. The city is gradually positioning itself on the global stage, attracting talent from overseas and expanding its influence in the knowledge economy.
