Telangana IAS Transfers Reshuffle Administration Across Key Departments

In a major administrative overhaul, the Telangana government has implemented a wide ranging reshuffle of IAS officers, impacting several crucial departments and district administrations. The transfers, issued through three separate government orders, involve collectors, GHMC zonal commissioners, and senior level officials across the state.

One of the key highlights of the reshuffle is the appointment of M Danakishore as Special Chief Secretary of the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development department. He takes over responsibilities previously handled by Sanjay Kumar, who has now been posted as Special Officer at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi. Sanjay Kumar will also continue to hold additional responsibilities linked to the Governor’s office.

The changes extend beyond top level positions, with multiple departments witnessing fresh appointments. B Vijayendra has been posted as Secretary of the SC Development department, while Harichandan Dasari will handle the Labour department. Krishna Aditya has been assigned as Special Secretary in Industries and Commerce, and Jendage Hanumanth Kondiba will serve as CEO of Aarogyasri Health Care Trust.

Further, P Praveenya has been appointed as Special Secretary in Roads and Buildings, and Santosh BM will oversee the Tribal Welfare department. Anudeep Durishetty takes charge as Joint Secretary in the ITE and C department, while Abhilasha Abhinav has been named Secretary of the Intermediate Board. GV Shyam Prasad Lal will serve as Director of Civil Supplies, and G Mukunda Reddy has been posted as Special Commissioner in Information and Public Relations.

At the district level, several collector positions have been reshuffled. Bhavesh Mishra has been appointed Collector of Nirmal, Priyanka Ala takes charge as Hyderabad Collector, and Prateek Jain moves to Sangareddy. TS Diwakar has been posted in Khammam, while Hemant Sahadeorao Borkade will serve in Mulugu. Chekka Priyanka has been assigned to Narayanpet, and Hemant Keshav Patil to Nagarkurnool.

In addition, administrative changes have been made in ITDA roles and additional collector posts. Manda Makarandu will serve as ITDA Project Officer in Utnoor, while Lenin Vatsal Toppo takes charge in Eturnagaram. Kiranmayi Koppishetti and Yuvaraj Marmat have been appointed as Additional Collectors in Rangareddy and Kumrambheem Asifabad respectively.

Urban administration has also seen key changes, with new GHMC zonal commissioners appointed across major zones. P Uday Kumar will oversee Golconda, Badavath Santosh takes charge of Khairatabad, Narayana Amit will head Serilingampally, and Vikas Mahato has been posted to LB Nagar. Mayank Singh will manage Kukatpally, while S Srinivas Reddy has been assigned to Rajendranagar.

The large scale IAS transfers are seen as an effort to streamline governance and improve administrative efficiency across Telangana, with a renewed focus on both rural development and urban management.
