A tragic accident at a cement bricks manufacturing unit in Mahalingapur village of Shankarpally mandal in Rangareddy district has resulted in the death of three workers, while several others sustained serious injuries. The incident occurred when a crane at the site suddenly collapsed, causing panic among those present.
Initial reports indicate that around ten workers were at the location when the crane gave way. The sudden collapse left multiple workers trapped and injured under the debris, leading to a chaotic situation at the site.
Local authorities and police rushed to the spot soon after receiving information about the accident. Rescue operations were immediately launched to pull out those trapped and provide urgent medical assistance. The injured workers were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
