OnePlus unveils Ace 6 Ultra gaming smartphone with massive battery and ultra fast charging

OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra has officially been introduced in China, expanding the company’s performance driven smartphone lineup. Built with gaming and heavy usage in mind, the device arrives with a combination of high end hardware, a large battery, and features tailored for immersive gameplay.

The standout feature is its massive 8600mAh battery, designed to support extended gaming and daily use without frequent charging. To complement this, the phone supports 120W wired fast charging, allowing users to quickly power up the device and get back to usage with minimal downtime.

On the performance front, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. This setup ensures smooth multitasking and high speed gaming performance. The device also includes advanced connectivity options such as 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type C port, making it well equipped for modern usage.

The display is another highlight, featuring a 6.78 inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. With peak brightness reaching 1800 nits and a high touch sampling rate, the screen is optimized for fluid visuals and responsive gaming. The phone also offers a high screen to body ratio, enhancing the viewing experience for videos and games.

In terms of photography, the device carries a dual rear camera system led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization. It is supported by an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens, capable of capturing a wider field of view. The rear camera setup supports up to 4K video recording at 60 frames per second and offers digital zoom capabilities. On the front, a 16 megapixel camera is provided for selfies and video calls.

The phone runs on Android 16 based ColorOS 16 and supports dual SIM functionality. Security features include an in display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor along with face unlock support, adding convenience and safety for users.

Pricing for the device starts at 3499 yuan for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, which roughly translates to Rs 48400. Higher variants go up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, with the top end model priced at around 5099 yuan. The smartphone is available in Ace Awakening and Metal Storm color options.

Alongside the smartphone, OnePlus has also introduced a dedicated gaming accessory called the OnePlus Gun God controller. Designed for extended gaming sessions, it features an ergonomic grip and attaches to the phone in a horizontal position. The controller includes trigger style buttons with fast response times and a high polling rate, aiming to deliver a console like gaming experience. It also integrates an advanced antenna system to reduce latency during online gameplay and includes a cooling module with a built in fan to manage heat effectively.

With this launch, OnePlus is clearly targeting mobile gamers and power users who prioritize performance, battery life, and responsive controls, positioning the Ace 6 Ultra as a strong contender in the premium gaming smartphone segment.
