Chandrababu Naidu to Tour Krishna District on May Day with Welfare and Development Focus

The Chief Minister will visit Pamidimukkala and Gudlavalleru, interact with workers, distribute pensions, and inaugurate an eye hospital while reviewing party activities across Krishna district on Friday.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set for a packed tour of Krishna district on Friday, May 1, combining welfare outreach, public interaction, and development initiatives into a single-day visit.

The day will begin with his arrival at Veerankilaku village in Pamidimukkala mandal, followed by participation in the Peddala Sevalo programme. Addressing a public gathering there, the Chief Minister is expected to outline the government’s ongoing welfare agenda and interact directly with beneficiaries.

A key highlight of the visit will be his engagement with beneficiaries of the NTR Bharosa pension scheme. The Chief Minister will personally visit homes in NTR Colony, hand over pensions, and speak with residents to understand their living conditions. Officials noted that the scheme has already disbursed over Rs. 63,158 crore statewide, with Krishna district alone seeing monthly pensions distributed to more than 2.34 lakh people.

Marking May Day, Naidu will also hold a special interaction with construction workers, listening to their concerns and assuring continued government support. The programme aims to reinforce the administration’s focus on labour welfare and social security.

Later in the afternoon, the Chief Minister will meet party leaders and cadres from the Pamarru constituency to review organizational activities and discuss local issues.

In the final leg of the tour, Naidu will travel to Gudlavalleru to inaugurate a new facility of the LV Prasad Eye Institute, expanding access to quality eye care services in the region.

The Chief Minister is scheduled to conclude his visit by late afternoon and return to his camp office after completing all engagements.
