A devastating road accident on the Outer Ring Road near Shamshabad in Hyderabad claimed six lives, turning a routine journey into a tragic loss for multiple families.

According to initial reports, the accident occurred near exit number 16 where a speeding car rammed into a stationary lorry. The impact was so severe that the vehicle was completely crushed and got wedged under the rear of the truck.

The car, identified as a Maruti Suzuki WagonR, was travelling from Pedda Golconda towards Shamshabad with seven occupants inside. Due to the high speed and sudden collision, six passengers died on the spot.

Among the deceased were women and young children, making the incident even more heartbreaking. One woman, who survived the crash with critical injuries, was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police and emergency teams reached the location soon after receiving information and began rescue operations. The damaged vehicle and the condition of victims indicated the intensity of the collision.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident, including whether the parked lorry had proper warning signals or safety measures in place. The incident has once again highlighted concerns over road safety and the risks posed by high speed driving on highways.
