New sales bring budget friendly 5G smartphones with up to 12GB RAM, improved displays, and large batteries, giving buyers multiple options across price ranges during limited period offers

A fresh wave of smartphone deals has gone live in India, giving budget conscious buyers a chance to pick up 5G devices at competitive prices. Starting May 1, new and returning models from Lava and Ai Plus brands are available with discounts, upgraded variants, and improved specifications.

One of the highlights of the sale is the updated version of the Lava Bold N1 5G, which now comes with a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option. Priced at 12,999 rupees, the device is currently being offered at an effective price of 11,999 rupees as part of a launch deal on Amazon. The phone is available in Champagne Gold and Royal Blue finishes, adding a premium touch to its budget positioning.

The device builds on earlier variants that were launched last year, including 4GB RAM options with 64GB and 128GB storage. Those models continue to be available at lower price points, making the lineup accessible to a wide range of users.

In terms of performance, the Lava Bold N1 5G runs on Android 15 and features a large 6.75 inch HD Plus display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa core Unisoc T765 processor and supports virtual RAM expansion, allowing users to boost memory up to 12GB using internal storage. The storage itself can be expanded up to 1TB, adding flexibility for heavy users.

For photography, the phone offers an AI backed 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front shooter. A 5000mAh battery powers the device, with support for 10W charging. It also includes practical features such as face unlock, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, and IP54 protection against dust and splashes.

Alongside Lava, the Ai Plus Nova 2 5G and Ai Plus Nova 2 Ultra 5G have also returned to sale, offering buyers more choices in the mid range segment. These devices are available on Flipkart with limited period discounts.

The standard Nova 2 5G starts at 10,999 rupees for the base variant, but can be purchased at an effective price of 9,999 rupees during the sale. The higher 6GB RAM variant is priced at 12,999 rupees. The Ultra version, on the other hand, begins at 18,999 rupees, with offers bringing the effective price down to 16,999 rupees.

Both models run on Android 16 with a custom NxtQ OS interface. The Ultra variant stands out with a 6.78 inch AMOLED display offering 1.5K resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate, and high brightness levels. The standard model features a slightly smaller HD Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Performance wise, the Ultra model is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and supports up to 8GB RAM, while the standard Nova 2 5G uses a Unisoc T8200 processor with up to 6GB RAM. These configurations are designed to handle everyday tasks, multitasking, and moderate gaming with ease.

Battery life is another strong point for both devices, as they come with large 6000mAh batteries. The Ultra variant supports faster 33W charging, while the standard version supports 18W charging. Camera capabilities differ slightly, with the Ultra offering a dual camera setup featuring a 50 megapixel Sony sensor with optical image stabilization and an ultra wide lens, while the standard model includes a single 50 megapixel rear camera.

With multiple devices now available across price segments, the ongoing sale gives buyers an opportunity to choose from feature rich 5G smartphones without stretching their budgets too far.
