Celebrating two decades of nurturing chess talent, Brilliant Chess Academy is set to host a grand chess festival in Hyderabad. The event marks a significant milestone for the academy, which has played a key role in promoting the game among young players.

The festival will take place at Brilliant Grammar School in Dilsukhnagar and will feature multiple formats of competitive chess. The highlight of the celebrations is the Brilliant Trophy Classical Chess Tournament scheduled from May 6 to 8, offering prize money of around one lakh rupees.

Adding to the excitement, the academy will conduct the Brilliant Trophy Blitz Chess Tournament on May 7 with a prize pool of ten thousand rupees. The Rapid Chess Tournament will follow on May 9 and 10, featuring an even larger prize pool of 1.11 lakh rupees.

Organisers say the festival aims to bring together players of different skill levels, encouraging competitive spirit while celebrating the academy’s journey. Over the years, Brilliant Chess Academy has built a strong reputation for training and mentoring aspiring chess players, making this anniversary event a special occasion for the local chess community.
