Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has responded for the first time after the electoral setback faced by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, stating that the party fully respects the mandate delivered by the people. Taking to social media platform X, he conveyed that the verdict would be accepted with humility and extended congratulations to those who emerged victorious.

Even as he acknowledged the defeat, Stalin emphasized the work carried out by his government over the past five years. He pointed out that the administration had focused on development initiatives and welfare programs aimed at improving the lives of people across Tamil Nadu. According to him, the government entered the elections highlighting these achievements and its track record in governance.
