The examinations will continue until May 11 and will be conducted at 125 centres arranged throughout the state.
Officials confirmed that the examinations will be held in two sessions every day. The morning session will run from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon session will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates have been instructed to report well in advance, as entry gates will close before the examination begins.
Students appearing for the morning session must reach their respective centres by 7:30 am, while afternoon session candidates are expected to arrive by 1:30 pm. Authorities made it clear that even a slight delay would result in denial of entry into the examination hall.
Hall tickets have already been released for all registered candidates. This year, a total of 3,01,194 students applied for the TS EAPCET examinations across different streams. Among them, 2,10,308 candidates registered for the engineering stream, while 90,569 students applied for agriculture and pharmacy courses.
SET Convener Dr K Vijay Kumar Reddy stated that extensive arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations starting Saturday. Security, monitoring systems, and student assistance facilities have reportedly been strengthened at all examination centres to avoid inconvenience for candidates.
