Redmi Mystery Smartphone Leak Hints at Giant Display and Massive 10000mAh Battery
Redmi is reportedly preparing a powerful flagship smartphone with huge battery capacity premium display advanced chipset and flagship level protection expected to arrive under the Redmi K100 series later this year

Redmi appears ready to shake up the flagship smartphone market once again as fresh leaks have revealed details about a mysterious upcoming device that could become one of the company’s most ambitious launches yet. The rumored smartphone is expected to join the Redmi K100 lineup later this year and is already attracting attention because of its massive battery and oversized display.
According to recent leaks shared by well known tipsters, the mystery Redmi phone may feature a huge 7 inch display with 2K resolution. If the information turns out to be accurate, the device could become one of the largest flagship smartphones launched by the brand in recent years. The bigger screen is expected to target users who prefer gaming, streaming, multitasking, and extended media consumption on mobile devices.
Another major talking point is the battery. Reports suggest that Redmi may pack the device with a battery larger than 10000mAh, which would place it far ahead of most flagship smartphones currently available in the market. Such a battery could significantly improve screen time and reduce charging frequency, especially for heavy users who spend long hours gaming or watching content.
The smartphone is also rumored to feature premium flagship level elements including an ultrasonic in display fingerprint scanner, metal frame construction, and IP68 or IP69 rated protection against dust and water. These additions indicate that Redmi may be aiming to position the phone in the ultra premium category rather than as a standard mid range device.
Interestingly, earlier reports had claimed that the Redmi K100 Pro Max would run on Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor built on a 2nm process. However, newer leaks now mention a possible 3nm chipset instead, creating confusion around the final hardware configuration. Industry watchers point out that Qualcomm is not currently expected to release a fresh 3nm Snapdragon 8 series chip this year, as both the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Gen 6 Pro are rumored to use 2nm architecture.
This has led to speculation that Redmi may use a different processor altogether. Reports suggest that MediaTek is working on a Dimensity 9500 Plus chipset, which could be an overclocked version of the Dimensity 9500. Xiaomi is also believed to be developing its own Xring O3 chipset. Either of these processors could potentially power the mystery Redmi smartphone.
The leak becomes even more interesting because previously rumored specifications for the standard Redmi K100 included a 6.6 inch display and a battery around 8500mAh. That means the newly leaked device may not be the regular K100 or even the K100 Pro Max. Instead, Redmi could be planning a third high end model within the lineup designed specifically for power users.
Sources close to the leaks believe Redmi may officially unveil the K100 series around October, while the Redmi Note 17 lineup is expected to debut earlier in July or August. Although the company has not confirmed any details yet, the growing number of leaks suggests that Redmi is preparing a major flagship push for the Chinese market.
If the rumors are accurate, the upcoming Redmi device could stand out as one of the most powerful smartphones of the year with a combination of large display technology, advanced AI focused processing, premium durability, and an unusually large battery capacity.
