Prateek Yadav Passes Away Suddenly Leaving Yadav Family in Grief
Prateek Yadav, businessman and son of late SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, died unexpectedly in Lucknow after reportedly suffering health complications linked to lung related medical problems.

Prateek Yadav, the younger son of late Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, passed away unexpectedly in Lucknow, creating shock and sadness among family members and political circles. He was 38 years old.
According to police officials, family members rushed Prateek Yadav to a civil hospital in Lucknow early on Wednesday morning after his health suddenly deteriorated. Doctors reportedly declared him brought dead upon arrival. Authorities later confirmed that a postmortem examination would be conducted at King George Medical University to determine the exact cause of death.
Sources said Prateek had been facing lung related medical complications for some time and was undergoing treatment for blood clot issues in the lungs. His condition reportedly worsened suddenly in the early hours of the day, leaving relatives deeply distressed.
Though he belonged to one of Uttar Pradesh’s most influential political families, Prateek Yadav largely stayed away from active politics. He completed his MBA from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom and later built a career in business and real estate development.
Prateek was also widely known for his passion for fitness and bodybuilding. In the past, an international fitness platform had recognised his transformation journey, something he often credited to the inspiration given by his father. Alongside fitness, he was also involved in activities related to animal welfare and social service.
His sudden death has left the Yadav family and close associates in mourning, with several political leaders expressing condolences over the loss.
