Heavy rain accompanied by powerful winds created panic across several parts of Bhadohi and Budaun districts in Uttar Pradesh. The sudden change in weather disrupted normal life, damaged public infrastructure, and left many families struggling for safety. Officials confirmed that 11 people died in storm related incidents, while several others suffered serious injuries.

The storm caused major destruction in residential areas as strong winds uprooted hundreds of trees and blocked important roads. Electricity poles collapsed in multiple locations, leading to long power outages across affected regions. Communication services were also disturbed after mobile networks stopped functioning in several villages and towns.

Many houses were damaged due to the heavy winds and rain, forcing several families to leave their homes. Local residents faced difficulties contacting relatives because of the damaged network connectivity. Authorities are working to clear roads and restore essential services as quickly as possible.

After reviewing the situation, the Uttar Pradesh government directed emergency teams to speed up relief and rescue efforts. Teams from NDRF and SDRF reached the affected areas and started searching for people trapped under debris. Injured victims were shifted to nearby hospitals for immediate treatment.
