iQOO 15T Set to Debut With 200MP Camera and Massive 8000mAh Battery
iQOO is preparing to launch the iQOO 15T in China with a 200MP flagship camera, 100W fast charging, gaming focused hardware and an advanced high refresh rate display.

iQOO is getting ready to introduce its next flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15T, in China on May 20. The upcoming device is already attracting attention because of its powerful hardware, large battery and camera focused upgrades. With only a few days left before the official unveiling, the company has started revealing major details about the smartphone one by one.
The iQOO 15T is expected to be one of the brand’s most feature packed smartphones so far. It will reportedly become the first iQOO flagship device to feature a 200 megapixel main camera sensor. The company claims the large sensor is capable of capturing highly detailed images even while zooming. Along with this, the smartphone is said to include professional grade stabilization technology similar to Vivo’s premium imaging devices.
Photography appears to be one of the biggest highlights of the phone. Reports suggest the camera system will support 4x lossless zoom for maintaining image clarity at different distances. The smartphone is also expected to offer portrait photography features across multiple focal lengths along with AI powered imaging tools designed to improve overall photo quality automatically.
Apart from the main sensor, the phone could include a 50 megapixel ultra wide camera for landscape shots and a 16 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The iQOO 15T is also likely to run on Android 16 based OriginOS 6 software out of the box.
Battery performance is another area where the company seems to be pushing boundaries. The iQOO 15T is rumored to feature a large 8000mAh battery packed inside an ultra slim body. The device is expected to support 100W fast charging technology, allowing users to recharge the battery quickly despite its huge capacity.
According to the company, the phone uses Global Direct Drive Power Supply 2.0 technology, which helps control heating during gaming and charging at the same time. This could become an important feature for gamers and heavy users who often spend long hours on their devices throughout the day.
On the front, the smartphone is expected to feature a 6.82 inch flat 2K display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate is likely to provide smoother animations, faster touch response and a more immersive gaming experience. iQOO has also focused heavily on gaming performance with this model.
The smartphone is rumored to use the Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition chipset, which is expected to deliver flagship level performance for demanding applications and high end mobile gaming. In addition, the company may include its self developed Q3 e sports chip to enhance graphics performance further.
With the dedicated gaming chip, users may get support for features such as full scene ray tracing, super 2K resolution and gameplay at 144 frames per second in selected games. These upgrades indicate that iQOO is targeting serious mobile gamers along with users looking for premium camera and battery performance.
While the launch has been confirmed for the Chinese market, there is still no official information regarding the global availability of the iQOO 15T. However, considering the growing popularity of flagship gaming smartphones, many users outside China are already waiting for updates about an international release.
