The case surrounding the death of former Miss Pune and actress Twisha Sharma has taken another emotional turn as police reportedly sent a letter to her family regarding the prolonged stay of her body at a hospital mortuary in Bhopal.

Twisha was found dead under suspicious circumstances on May 12 at her in laws residence in the Katara Hills area of Bhopal. Since then, her family has continued to raise serious concerns over the circumstances surrounding her death and has alleged foul play.

The family has reportedly refused to take custody of the body, insisting that a fresh independent medical examination should be conducted before any further steps are taken. They have approached the court seeking a re examination process and claim that several unanswered questions remain in the case.

According to reports, Twisha’s body has remained at the hospital mortuary for several days. Police are said to have informed the family that while preservation facilities are available, long term storage limitations may create complications over time.

The issue has further intensified after Twisha’s father publicly questioned the postmortem process and raised concerns about alleged inconsistencies in the report. He claimed that important aspects of the investigation require closer examination and expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of the matter.

Family members have stated that they will continue seeking additional medical review and legal intervention before taking further decisions. Meanwhile, authorities are continuing their investigation into the case.
