Oppo has officially expanded its premium smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the new Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s. The company is targeting photography enthusiasts and flagship users with both devices, bringing upgraded camera technology, powerful processors and large batteries designed for heavy everyday usage.
The spotlight is clearly on the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, which arrives as the most premium model in the Find X9 series. The smartphone comes with a striking design and is available in Canyon Orange and Tundra Umber shades. Oppo has focused heavily on camera performance this time, promising a professional photography experience through its Hasselblad tuned imaging system.
The Find X9 Ultra features a 6.82 inch QHD plus AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching 1800 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and offers vibrant visuals along with smoother scrolling and gaming performance. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and fast UFS 4.1 storage.
One of the biggest highlights of the Ultra model is its advanced quad rear camera setup. The smartphone packs a 200 megapixel primary sensor alongside another 200 megapixel telephoto lens. It also includes a 50 megapixel ultra wide camera and a dedicated ultra telephoto sensor supporting up to 10x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom. Oppo says the device is built for users who want DSLR style photography directly from a smartphone.
Video recording capabilities have also received major attention. The Find X9 Ultra supports 8K video recording at 30fps and 4K recording at up to 120fps. Features such as Dolby Vision video capture and Hasselblad XPAN mode are expected to attract content creators and mobile filmmakers.
Battery performance is another area where Oppo is pushing hard. The Find X9 Ultra houses a huge 7050mAh silicon carbon battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Despite the large battery, the device maintains a premium and slim design language.
Meanwhile the Find X9s arrives as a lighter and slightly more compact flagship option. It comes with a 6.59 inch AMOLED display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1800 nits brightness. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset coupled with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage.
The camera system on the Find X9s also carries Hasselblad branding. The phone includes a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50 megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50 megapixel ultra wide lens and a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto camera. For selfies and video calls, Oppo has added a 32 megapixel front camera.
Oppo has equipped the Find X9s with a 7025mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging. The company claims the device is designed for users looking for flagship level performance without carrying a bulky phone. It is available in Lavender Sky, Midnight Grey and Sunset Orange color variants.
The company has also introduced several launch offers to attract buyers. Customers purchasing the Find X9 Ultra can get up to Rs 22000 exchange bonus along with cashback offers on selected bank cards. Buyers can also choose zero down payment financing plans for up to 24 months. Additional benefits include cloud storage access, Google AI Pro subscription and Spotify Premium membership for a limited period.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is priced at Rs 169999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. On the other hand, the Find X9s starts at Rs 79999 for the base model while the top variant is priced at Rs 89999.
