Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Launches Development Projects at Yadagirigutta

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated several development works at Yadagirigutta including a Vedic school and temple infrastructure projects aimed at improving pilgrim facilities and spiritual activities.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited the sacred Yadagirigutta temple town and participated in a series of development initiatives aimed at strengthening spiritual and infrastructure facilities at the famous pilgrimage center. The visit marked the beginning of several important projects expected to improve the overall experience for devotees.

One of the major highlights of the visit was the foundation stone ceremony for a traditional Vedic school building. The ceremony was conducted in the presence of Kanchi Kamakoti Peethadhipathi Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swami. The Vedic school is planned across 15 acres at the Peddagutta temple city layout with an estimated cost of Rs 43.79 crore. Officials said construction is expected to be completed within two years after which academic activities will begin.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stones for multiple temple related projects designed to improve facilities for pilgrims and religious activities. These include a Nithya Kalyanam and Rangam Mandapam project estimated at Rs 9.88 crore, a covered roof structure for the staircase route costing Rs 1.41 crore and new steps for Madha streets with an investment of Rs 1.44 crore.

Another major project includes a Deeksha devotees hall estimated at Rs 43.5 crore which is expected to provide better arrangements for visitors participating in religious observances and rituals. Officials believe these projects will further strengthen the temple town’s growing importance as a major spiritual destination.

Following the ceremonies, Revanth Reddy offered prayers and sought blessings at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple. Ministers Konda Surekha and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy along with MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and several public representatives attended the event.
