Actor Naga Chaitanya has secured interim legal protection from the Delhi High Court in a case concerning the unauthorized use of his personal identity. The court directed that his name, photographs, voice, and likeness cannot be used for commercial purposes without his consent.
The matter came before the court after the actor filed a petition alleging that his personal identity was being misused without permission. In his plea, Naga Chaitanya sought legal safeguards to protect his privacy rights and prevent unauthorized exploitation of his image.
Responding positively to the petition, the Delhi High Court issued interim orders in favor of the actor. The court emphasized that any commercial use of Naga Chaitanya’s identity must be carried out only with proper authorization from him.
